Photographic series
Tones are a series of photos in which existing formal elements - tone, form, shape, and line, were explored in order to achieve a range of catching compositions. All of the photos’ compositions were captured through the lens as presented here, with the only alterations being in the photos’ contrast settings. In a generation full of manipulation and filtering of visual material, Tones scope is to root back to more minimal and fundamental elements, observing and reworking them from an authentic and refreshing perspective.
